Diningout Metrowest would like to
introduce you to BaBa.
BaBa offers the highest quality, freshest sushi,
sashimi, hand rolls and other Japanese specialties as well as
distinctive modern western cuisine. The menu emphasizes Master
Sushi Chef Wilson Wang's extensive artistic and creative mastery
of Japanese food preparation and presentation.
Wilson Wang is a Master Sushi Chef and a major
personality. He has over 9 years experience as a Master Sushi
Chef. Originally classically trained at the Zibo Chef School
in Zibo, China, Wilson came to the United States in 1995.
Restaurant BaBa’s other owner and manager
is Howard Stempler. Howard Stempler is a practicing attorney,
businessman and Worcester resident for over 20 years.
As the entire kitchen, including both sushi bar
as well as all food preparation is uniquely open, the entire
food preparation process adds an element of entertainment for
patrons.

About Worcester's Best Chef
Worcester’s
Best Chef is a culinary competition that took place at the historic
Union Station on Sunday, January 28, 2007, from 6:30 – 10
p.m featuring food sampling for all attendees by 25+ Restaurants!
Over 1500 people attended this wonderful event.
The event featured the best chefs from central Massachusetts and
Metro West restaurants, each preparing his/her signature creation
in the following categories:
American Infusion;
Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Thai);
Italian (Regional, north to south);
Mediterranean/Greek/Middle Eastern;
Seafood;
Dessert.
Judging
There was two (2) phases of judging, each with an award
including The People’s Choice Award and the official Worcester's
Best Chef award determined by a panel comprised of distinguished
professionals from the culinary arts community.
